Adelboden, Switzerland

We visited Adelboden on a whim. I was looking for a place that was roughly in between Zurich and Lausanne, so that we could enjoy both Lake Zurich and Lake Geneva. Randomly, I saw an ad for the Hotel Cambrian in a Travel Magazine and the die was cast. The views of the Bernese Oberland Alps and the village setting combined to convince me that Adelboden (and Hotel Cambrian) was going to be our next unearthed gem.
